- Health Data: Pain management information, medical diagnoses, surgical history, medication history/use, and daily activity data, as voluntarily entered by you.
- Usage Data: Device type, operating system, and App usage statistics.
- Wearable Data: If you choose to connect third-party wearable devices or health platforms (e.g., Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, Fitbit), we may collect activity, sleep, or biometric data. This integration is optional and requires your explicit authorization. You may revoke access at any time. Wearable data linked to your account is treated as PHI.
2A. Consent Capture
When creating an account, you will be asked to:
(a) acknowledge receipt of our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP), and
(b) provide explicit consent to receive SMS/email communications.
These consents are logged with date, time, device, and version of the applicable policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@painkare.ai.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Personalize your user experience.
- Support your care team (your information may be shared with your pain coach, physician, and/or clinic administrators to help personalize and coordinate your care).
- Conduct internal analytics, quality assurance, and operational improvements.

- Communicate updates or changes to the App.
4. Data Sharing
Your information may be shared only in the following cases:
- Service Providers: To facilitate functionality (e.g., hosting, analytics).
- Healthcare Providers or Payors: Where necessary to support reimbursement, operations, or care coordination.

- Research (de-identified or aggregated): Only when permitted by law and IRB oversight.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

10. Coaching Services Data
If you use coaching services, additional information (e.g., session details, communications) may be collected. This will be handled under the Revive Ease Coaching Policy and not shared without your explicit consent.
11. AI-Powered Data Processing and User Choice
The App may use AI/ML models to analyze pain trends, predict flare-ups, and provide risk alerts. Data used for AI insights is processed securely and not shared without consent.
12. HIPAA Compliance
PainKare Solutions Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
13. Quality Improvement
We may use de-identified or aggregated data for internal quality improvement, analytics, and product development.
14. Safety Reports
If you submit a safety concern through the App, the information you provide will be treated as Protected Health Information (PHI) and handled in accordance with HIPAA safeguards.
15. International Use
The Revive Ease App is intended for use by individuals located in the United States. If you access the App while traveling internationally, your data will continue to be processed under U.S. law, including HIPAA, and stored on U.S.-based servers.
